I'm beginning to take commissions for my custom guitar builds. The reason I'm taking commissions so early in my career is because I'm unable to keep funding my builds and upgrading my tools by myself, so I've turned to the public to ask for your help to give me experience in return for a rad custom guitar.

This is not a professional shop — this is a small-scale run at building guitars. My builds have the possibility of minor imperfections. If you're looking for machine-like absolute perfection, this is not the place for you.
Use the builder below. Select body shape, woods, color, pickups, and inlays. A running cost estimate updates as you go.
Hit "Send Commission Request" to open a pre-filled email to makaguitars@gmail.com. Indicate you're requesting a guitar in the subject line with all customization details.
I'll email back if you got a spot. Reply within 24 hours — your spot is on hold during this window. A materials downpayment via Venmo is due within 48 hours.
After the build I'll evaluate for minor imperfections and send a 2nd payment request for labor (starts at $400, may be deducted based on evaluation). Then it ships to you.

The commission list opens at 12am on the 1st of every month for the following month. I limit commissions to 3 guitars a month — each takes around 40–45 hours by hand.
First come, first served. The first three emails I receive are marked on the list. The July 2026 sign-up starts immediately.
